Seychelles IFMIS Project

We are excited to announce the signing of the contract between the Ministry of Finance, National Planning and Trade, Seychelles and Linpico Sarl in a joint venture with PFM Smart System for the design and development of the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS).

This project aims to modernize public financial management by introducing a unified, efficient, and transparent digital platform for managing government financial operations. The IFMIS will serve as a centralized system to streamline budgeting, accounting, treasury, reporting, and other financial processes across government entities, ensuring improved fiscal discipline, accountability, and decision-making.

The IFMIS solution encompasses a comprehensive set of modules designed to cover end-to-end public financial management processes. Each module is briefly described below:

1. Budget Preparation and Management

2. General Ledger and Accounting

3. Treasury and Cash Management

4. Revenue Management (Tax and Non-Tax)

5. Expenditure and Payment Management

6. Procurement and Contract Management

7. Accounts Payable and Receivable

8. Asset Management

9. Payroll and Human Resource Integration

10. Financial Reporting and Analytics

The signing ceremony took place this morning with PS for Finance, Ms. Astride Tamatave signing on behalf of the ministry and Basel Bishtawi, Managing Director PFM Smart System

The contract to develop IFMIS is to start from January 2025 .
